BELONG | SECTION ONE

An Invitation to Belong

Section Two: Rooted In Belonging >

Belonging begins with an invitation.

If you are reading this, you are likely a leader, an officer, a sergeant, a volunteer, a faithful voice in your local context. However you arrived here, welcome! We are so glad you are here. You are not just holding a manual; you are stepping into a movement. A movement toward cultivating spaces where women can grow, be known, and experience the transforming love of Jesus in every season of life. Whether you have led women’s ministries for decades or this is your very first step, we want to begin by affirming something deeply true: You belong.

First, you belong to the Lord; chosen, known, and called by Him. And from that place, you belong within this body of believers, uniquely positioned for such a time as this.

Together, we are inviting women into something deeper than programs or gatherings. We are inviting them into a relationship with Jesus that reshapes identity from the inside out. When His love takes root in a heart, belonging is no longer something to strive for. It becomes something that overflows.

Our desire is that every woman across generations, backgrounds, and life experiences would encounter a community where she feels seen, heard, valued, and deeply loved. A place where she realizes she is part of something far greater than herself. Because the truth is, we were never created to earn belonging.

We were created for community.
And we are called to belong.
This is where our work begins.

Scripture reminds us that we do not earn our way into the Kingdom.

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.” (Ephesians 2:8–9 NIV)

Belonging is not a reward. It is an invitation.

And now, that invitation is yours to carry.

As you step into this resource, our hope is not simply that you would lead but that you would create spaces where others can encounter the same truth:

You belong.
Not because you deserve it.
But because God has already made a way.
And through you, others will discover that they belong too.
